Sanchez 1I went to North Star Camp, and let me tell you I had the best time.

I really had never gone to a camp that was so much fun but also very spiritual. I remember the first day; I was nervous because I was leaving my family for a week, but by the end of the week I had already found a beautiful family through Christ.

The coolest thing I experienced was that in one of the evening chapels I realized my relationship with Christ was not very strong…and that I really needed His help. So I prayed. Later on in the week we were singing as the sun was going down. We were all there together as one big beautiful family, and in that moment I felt like my heart stopped. I closed my eyes so I could just hear and absorb the beauty of nature and everything else. At that moment I felt the love of God rush through me. I can tell you that was the best feeling a human being can feel, and I was so happy I could feel it at such a young age.

I love North Star Camp, and every time I go something amazing happens. I hope to feel that same feeling again and pray that maybe one day you may feel it too!
