image5Last summer I went to tween camp and I took a friend. It was my first time going there without my parents. It was a good experience for both of us.

The best part was the activities. It was kind of fun eating only healthy foods; my friend didn’t really like it, but he was fine with it. I want to come every year because it’s spending time with Jesus. That’s another thing I like because when we learn about Him we do it in a fun way and I actually understand what we’re learning.

My sister and cousin went last year too. They had a blast. It was fun watching them splash water on each other’s heads. While they were doing that my friend and I sprayed them with our squirt guns. It was a lot of fun!

I also like the speed boats. I was going to go tubing and water boarding with my friend, but he doesn’t know how to swim so we both just stayed on the boat. I liked sleeping out on Turtle Island, but I hated the spiders and I couldn’t sleep because there were sticks. But I liked how we swam in the river there. So that was my experience of North Star Camp.
