Mid-America’s Adventist Community Services-Disaster Response leader Gaylord Hanson offers the following report regarding the April 14 tornados: “Iowa-Missouri Conference ACS-DR is monitoring damage in the towns of Thurman and Creston, Iowa. Pastor Roy Weeden, who directs Adventist disaster response in Missouri (and temporarily in Iowa as well), is in contact with state emergency officials. If help is needed from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, he will send out a call for volunteers.”

Hanson concludes: “Please continue to pray for those affected by these continuing disasters as well as those who so generously give of their time to help others in need.”
