Over 400 youth, pastors and sponsors came together on the campus of Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska June 7-9 for a weekend of fellowship, fun and learning during the second Mid-America Union Hispanic Youth Congress. Attendees participated in team building activities, praise music and seminars, and listened to inspiring messages from Ernest Castillo, Manny Cruz, Lizeth Hernandez and Elden Ramirez based around the theme of Pertenezco (I Belong).

More than 40 churches from the five Mid-America conferences having Hispanic congregations were represented. During the breakout sessions Katia Reinert (Health Ministries), Melanie Cruz (Children’s Ministries) and Yulian and Yenny Tinoco and Marlon and Denise Johnson (Family Ministries) presented seminars on how to build up these programs in local churches.
