Adventist Young Professionals recently welcomed Kelly Gabriel as the regional director for AYP Midwest.

AYP’s regional directors recruit, cultivate, and empower a team of post collegiate young adult ambassadors who support AYP’s mission of connecting, engaging, and equipping Adventist young adults by cultivating friendships in their locality.

AYP’s Midwest chapter includes the US states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Gabriel is currently the assistant director for the Office of Guest & Convention Services at her alma mater Andrews University,  and holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in marketing. She also serves as a logistics coordinator with Dr. Glenn Russell for the annual Lebanon Friendship Team mission trip, is a percussionist with the AU Symphony Orchestra, and a Junior Sponsor for the Andrews Filipino International Association.

A third-generation Seventh-day Adventist, Gabriel attributes her conviction as a young Adventist to her personal relationship with Christ, including repeated manifestations of God’s clear, humbling, heart-restoring and way-making power throughout her life. Grateful for the life-changing, abundant prayers and generous, loving support she has received over time, she believes that young Adventist professionals especially are properly equipped to be His hands and feet. She has purposed to share these blessings so that God’s truths can be known, to heal, encourage, and bring hope to the world around us today.
