“We had been experiencing difficulties with our former host for some time,” said Mid-America communication director Brenda Dickerson. “The situation just wasn’t getting resolved, so we began exploring other options.” Dickerson said they are pleased that the site is now be hosting through Union College’s IT department. “The migration was done efficiently and we are very pleased to again be providing a high quality experience for our readers,” she added.
The quick page load times will especially be appreciated by those submitting and paying for advertising online through PayPal.
