Gary Thurber, president of the Mid-America Union Conference of Seventy-day Adventists, was elected by the Board of Directors of Adventist Health System yesterday to serve as chairman of their board. Thurber replaces retiring chairman Don Livesay, and assumes this responsibility in addition to his role as president of the MAUC.
Terry Shaw, president/CEO of Adventist Health System, said he was looking forward to working with Thurber as “he brings deep insight and experience that will help guide our organization forward.”
