The news of the senseless tragedy at the Aurora, Colorado theater is on everyone’s mind this morning. At this point, we are not aware of any connection with Seventh-day Adventist members who may have been affected. Among the several hospitals that have attended to the wounded, Parker Adventist Hospital has had the opportunity to treat and release two victims with minor injuries, according to hospital officials.
Rocky Mountain Conference president, Gary Thurber stated, “Our hearts go out to all those affected by the theater shooting. The victims and their families will remain in our thoughts and prayers.”
In his weekly eNewsletter that goes out this morning, Thurber is asking the RMC family to join together in prayer for those affected by this act of horror.
As any additional news becomes available, it will be passed along.
