Nearly 30 gentlemen from different churches in Colorado and New Mexico attended a two-day retreat in Durango, Colorado, last June to experience a new and richer encounter with Jesus and their fellow Christian men.
The weekend was unique due to the serene setting of Three Trails cabin camp—forests, beautiful ponds, hiking trails—as well as the amazing food and accommodations.
Guest speaker Dr. Gonzalo Gradiz from San Francisco focused his instructive and uplifting messages to attendees on the importance of creating intimate relationships with their wives and with Jesus Christ. The entire time the gentlemen were at this camp, they were filled with joy because they had the time to understand themselves better, get to know each other better, and best of all pray together. Because the camp has no internet connection, it was much easier to spend time with God.
As the program concluded, all attendees gave their personal testimonies, sharing how thankful they were that God gave them the privilege to have been a part of this new ministry.
The event was organized by Pastors Frank Wilson and Wilmer Martinez, who expressed appreciation to the Rocky Mountain Conference for supporting Hispanic Ministries. They hope to host a similar event in 2020.
