Local Adventist Community Services Disaster Response personnel are conducting needs assessments and preparing to assist in relief efforts following the dozens of tornadoes that passed through eight Midwest states on November 17, destroying and damaging hundreds of homes and killing eight people.
Although Illinois and Indiana were hit the hardest, a head elder from the Peoria Church in Illinois stated that only three Adventist families there were affected.
