Spencer Hannah
College View Academy is excited to welcome Spencer Hannah. He is serving as the K-12 principal and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in Adventist education. He has committed his life and career to the education of students and he has a passion for them to know Jesus Christ as a personal friend and Savior.
Hannah graduated from Washington Adventist University with a BA in mathematics and from the University of Northern Colorado with an MA in educational administration. Hannah and his wife Eva have two adult children and adventure is never far away; just recently he and his son enjoyed a skydiving experience and on a nice day you might see Hannah rolling onto campus riding his mountain bike.
Prior to his move to Nebraska, Hannah served as the principal at Tri-City Adventist School in Washington. In his years of teaching and administration he has worked at various places including Campion Academy, Shenandoah Valley Academy, Blue Mountain Academy and Fletcher Academy. Most of his experience has been in secondary schools, but he loves the connection with the elementary students, and at lunch time he likes to visit the playground and hang out with the students. The students love that he’s tall and he can push them extra high on the swings.
In a year where changes happen almost every day, Hannah has said that flexibility is the key to success. And by the grace of God, 2020-2021 will be a year to remember!
