Pertenezco (I Belong) is the theme for the 2013 Mid-America Union Conference Hispanic Congress scheduled June 7-9 at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Featured speakers will include Ernest Castillo, Manny Cruz, Lizeth Hermandez, Elden Ramirez, Katia Reinert and Mic Thurber.
Youth age 15-35 can eat delicious food at Union Market, compete in the 2nd Annual Great Race, join in the In Step Challenge, the Walk-a-Thon and futbol/soccer and volleyball games.
Registration forms are available from your pastor or Adela Martinez at 402.484.3009 or admartin@maucsda.org. The registration deadline is May 20 (register by May 13 for a $10 discount). Lodging in college dormitories is only for registered youth and their sponsors (males only in the men’s dorm and females only in the women’s, so married couples cannot stay in the same room). Non-registered guests wishing to attend the presentations must make their own arrangements for lodging and food. Children of sponsors may eat at Union Market for $6 per meal.
