John 15:4-5 reads “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Dakota Adventist Academy is encouraging students and staff to have a closer connection with Jesus. Prayer teams, Bible study, witnessing through small acts of kindness, community service, leading out in worships, and sharing our talents with other churches and with the community are just a few of the ways the staff and students connect with Jesus and with others.
Sabbath, December 10, was a memorable day as two students declared their love for Jesus through baptism. Both Abby Brooke and Jaelyn Pickett had previously been baptized but now had the desire to recommit their lives to Jesus. Other students have expressed their desire for Bible study in preparation for baptism as well.
Connecting with Jesus. Building friendships for eternity. Preparing for the soon return of Jesus. Please continue to keep the staff and students in your prayers as we encourage each other to be ready when Jesus comes again.
