Now is the time.
There are roughly 100 days left in 2018, and that’s plenty of time to make a difference in a life–in your life.
For some reason we roll into October feeling as though we’re out of time. It’s nothing but empty bank accounts and holiday festivities from here on out, right? In actuality, we still have 1/3 of the year to go. One-third. 100 days. That’s long enough to have 100 workouts. It’s enough time to lose fifty pounds. It’s 14 weekly paychecks, and 7 Sabbath rests. This is enough time to change a life.
I want to challenge you to end the year strong. Pray more and do more. If there is someone missing from church, reach out to them. If something needs to be done, do it. Instead of waiting until the New Year to make commitments to yourself and others, make the commitments now. Instead of waiting 100 days to start a new plan, give yourself 100 days to put a plan in action and meet a goal.
Have you ever read the Bible everyday for 100 days in a row? I don’t think I can say that I have–but I can say that I want to. Now is the time.
Have you ever attempted 101 random acts of kindness? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
This time of year always puts butterflies in my stomach. The season is magical from now until New Year’s. I don’t want it to be just about holidays though. I don’t want it to be just about New Year’s resolutions. I want this year to be the most intentional of my life.
I want my purpose to be to glorify God and everything I do be for Him. That’s not something that can wait until tomorrow.
Don’t worry or wonder what you’ll eat or drink or wear in 2019. God knows. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Don’t worry about 2019.
It’ll worry about itself. God says so. Just look in Matthew 6.
