With the New Year upon us, it is easy to have giant life-changing goals.
Large goals can be difficult to stick to.
I suggest making small changes to improve your health.
Here is a list of twenty ways to improve your health in 2020.
- Drink more water daily
- Reach 10,000 steps each day
- Eat 3-5 servings of fruit each day
- Maintain the same sleep schedule every day, getting 6 hours or more
- Exercise 150 minutes each week
- Spend more time reading
- Visit the dentist at least twice a year
- Spend time outside daily
- Read scripture daily
- Start a prayer journal.
- Eat 3-5 servings of vegetables each day
- Reduce screen time
- Volunteer at your church
- Make as much time for friends and family as possible
- Wash your hands often
- When eating grains make at least half of them whole grains
- Cook at home for most meals
- Maintain a personal budget
- Eat more whole foods, rather than processed foods
- Remember the seventh day, to keep it holy
