Thirty-one young people from Colorado and Wyoming recently returned from Kaleo Project 2017, a mission trip to Oahu, having made a difference for Tent City, a community in Waianae tucked in the woods behind the harbor where as many as 300 of Hawaii’s homeless pitch their tents.

God’s love was also shared through an evangelistic campaign given for the inhabitants of Tent City and a Vacation Bible School for their 70-plus kids, along with making improvements in Hawaii Conference’s Camp Waianae by painting the dining hall and erecting a fence.
